Blessed are they who follow the LordCJames ChepponisGIAA swinging tune for the refrain. A short cantor line then a response for the choir/assembly. This could replace the Haas version.
Come and let us worship GodEUgandanIonaIn ‘One is the body’.
Come to me (Shoulder my yoke)CMartin Barry
The verses are based on the beatitudes
Everyday GodBernadette FarrellOCPA call/response song where the assembly invoke each of the persons of the Trinity in turn. Also in the collection ‘Restless is the heart’.
From the many make us one
Tony AlonsoGIAA call/response piece where the response and refrain are arranged for SAB. There are a large number of verses so this is extremely useful for the Communion procession. Instrument parts are avilable.
In every place where God is praised
Carl DawHopeThis straight hymn reminds us why we join together to worship and what we need to do when we go out into the world. The metre is CMD so ‘Kingsfold’ or ‘Ellacombe’ will fit.
Listen Lord and answer me Farrell
Bernadette FarrellOCPBased on psalms 85/86 and 130. Unison with a solo instrument part included.

See some suggestions here.
O Lord heal us
Christopher WalkerOCPA simple verse/refrain piece. Unfortunately the ordinary version is not available separately but it is in the collections ‘Hear the prayers that rise’ and ‘At the name of Jesus’. Two sets of choir harmonies are given along with a choice of verses. Looking ahead, this song would be very suitable during Lent and Holy Week.
Sent forth by God’s blessing
Omer WestendorfGIA/WLPA hymn for sending forth set to the tune ‘The Ash Grove’. GIA have various versions, mainly arranged for choir so the OCP version is included for ease of use.
Soli Deo GloriaPsMarty HaugenGIAA wonderful hymn with a really strong tune, suitable for many occasions. Enhanced by choir harmony for verse 4 and a descant for the final verse. Brass parts are available.
We rememberGMarty HaugenGIA‘We celebrate, we believe’.
Scored for choir and assembly with the refrain being memorable for people to sing without words after a few repetitions.
In the collection ‘With Open hands’.
We will lay our burden down
John BellIona/GIAIn the collection ‘Love from below’ which does not seem to be available on the Iona site, but it’s the red book of the green/red/blue set. For 4-part chorus (including the congregation who can be taught the refrain fairly easily) with a solo or small group over the top. Listen here with the wonderful Bill Tamblyn directing his choir.
You who are wearyCNick BatyConcept music onlineA simple communion song to accompany the procession. Verses are from psalm 41/42 or from the Beatitudes. (Or both if you need a lot of verses!) Also in the book ‘We come to your table’.
